[CONFIDENTIAL SECRETARY - POLICE DEPARTMENT [[$43,000.00 - $47,000.00 [[Non-union position - Salary commensurate with experience *[[Job Description: [[Under the general supervision of the Chief of Police, the Confidential Secretary provides administrative support to the Chief of Police and the Deputy Chief of Police. The Confidential Secretary performs complex administrative, technical, and clerical duties, and exercises initiative and tact in addressing members of the community and representatives from other law enforcement agencies.   • Composing and typing letters, forms, correspondences, and reports.
  • Processing invoices to generate payment.
  • Maintaining calendars of the Police Chief and Deputy Chief and schedules meetings.
  • Distributing Personnel Orders.
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies.
  • Answering inquiries and resolving complaints.
  • Placing calls for the Police Chief and Deputy Chief as required.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
