We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Contracts Administrator in East Point, Georgia. The role involves managing contracts, overseeing procurement processes, and writing proposals for various work sessions. This position is in the telecom industry and requires a strong understanding of the procurement process as a whole, including the utilization of specific software for procurement tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage contracts from initiation to execution

• Oversee the entire procurement process

• Handle the solicitation process for various aspects of the business

• Manage and respond to all Request for Proposals (RFPs)

• Utilize procurement software (SmartBidNet) effectively for various tasks

• Write contracts tailored to the needs of specific proposals

• Determine cost and writing terms for contracts

• Define the scope of work for each contract

• Ensure proper document retention for all contractual documents

• Route contracts for signature following the appropriate protocols

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and invoice handling

• Maintain comprehensive documentation related to all procurement activities.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong skills in documentation and invoice management

• Familiarity with SmartBidNet software

• Experience in preparing and managing proposals and RFPs

• Excellent negotiation and strategic thinking abilities

• Strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement

• Ability to network and establish relationships with suppliers

• Strong project management and leadership skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant field.
