Job Title: Warehouse Worker (East Moline)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our warehouse team. The role involves managing container and racking systems, handling various warehouse tasks, and ensuring smooth operations. This position offers steady work, opportunities to learn new skills such as forklift operation, and immediate pay raises upon successful training.

Responsibilities

• Control and manage containers and racks within the warehouse.

• Clean dirty containers and ensure they are ready for outgoing shipments.

• Wash, load, unload, sort, stage, and scan plastic totes.

• Work in process lanes to remove manufacturer tags from containers and racks using a hand-scanner.

• Repair large plastic containers using hand drills and screwdrivers.

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, read paperwork, and ensure correct containers are shipped.

Essential Skills

• 6 months of recent labor or forklift experience.

• Ability to pass a forklift test, including driving forward and backward through cones and lifting and setting down a pallet.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Willingness to work 10 hours of overtime and Saturdays.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general labor and material handling.

Work Environment

Our new warehouse, built in 2012, is a fast-paced environment where cleanliness is maintained with regular sweeping. The temperature is kept at 50+ degrees in the winter and warmer in the summer. The facility houses 60 employees and 4 supervisors, with 15-25 employees per shift. Shift details vary, with options for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including regular and 10-hour support schedules. Initial training and orientation will take place in East Moline on 1st shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
