Description

We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our organization in EAST LANSING, Michigan. This role plays a crucial part in our financial operations, working across various industries to support clients with financial and data analysis projects. The Sr. Accountant will be involved in meticulous financial analysis, continuously ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough financial analysis for clients across various industries

• Develop ad hoc financial reports to support decision-making processes

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data and reports

• Collaborate with team members to complete financial projects

• Provide expert advice to clients based on financial analysis results

• Utilize financial analysis skills to identify trends and potential risks

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Continually improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy

• Resolve client inquiries related to financial data and reports.

Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant or similar role is required

• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial procedures

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) is preferred

• Understanding of data analysis and forecasting

• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail

• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities

• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus

• Must exhibit strong ethical behavior and respect for confidentiality

• Demonstrated skills in Financial Analysis and Ad Hoc Financial Analysis

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying.
