Tetra Tech is seeking junior or mid-level Resident Project Representatives (RPRs) to perform Construction Observation on infrastructure construction projects. Projects include water main, sanitary sewer systems and wastewater treatment facilities. Immediate opportunity exists in the Brighton and Lansing, MI area. We are interested in candidates in the local area.
Your Role: Maintenance of daily reporting of measurements, calculations and computation of quantities as well as written narratives of work completed Ensuring conformance with contract documents Performance of daily inspection and documentation of construction activities, including those of subcontractor activities Maintaining as constructed drawings Position requires public engagement for access and progress updates
Qualifications: Clean driving record and valid driver's license Excellent organization and communication skills This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or more
Physical Requirements: This position may require protracted or irregular hours depending on the season. Traverse over rough terrain, and constantly position self to operate miscellaneous survey equipment. Occasionally ascend/descend ladders into trenches or onto roofs when inspecting construction and land development sites. May be subject to exposure to extreme outdoor weather conditions, hazardous materials and chemicals, heavy construction equipment, confined spaces, heights, and air and waterborne pathogens. May handle and move items up to 50 lbs for various needs.
