EJ Water Products has immediate openings for an Assembler at our Water Products facility on 1st and 2nd shift, starting pay of $21.50 per hour plus an additional $1.50 shift premium for those working 2nd shift. Part time employment with flexible schedules, up to 29 hours per week. Location: East Jordan Water Products SUMMARY Supports and assists the production function by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Ability to read and interpret drawings/diagrams/prints, and daily work instructions. * Ability to operate various shop tools such as impact drills, socket wrenches, hand grinders, hoists, etc. * Ability to proficiently use micrometers, Vernier calipers, and various other measuring devices. * Ability to communicate effectively with supervision and fellow employees. * Works both diligently alone as well as a part of a greater team depending on projects. * Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment.
