- Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards all customers and employees
- Properly maintain all paperwork including but not limited to, hours of each job, material used, customer's SIGNATURE and DATE for all completed work
- Always maintain proper record keeping of hours worked, including all other hourly employees.
- Proficient use of tape measure
- Skilled in reading blueprints and shop drawings
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Skilled at removing and installing glass, skylights, storefronts and display cases or on surfaces such as building fronts, interior wall, ceiling and tabletops
- Skilled in the handling glass of all types, carry, lift, cut, polish, install and remove. This will entail pushing, bending, reaching above shoulders and twisting
- Cut and polish mirrors and glass
- Skilled in caulking
- Must be able to climb ladders, skilled on scaffolding, ramps and steps, must not have a problem with heights
- Must be able to sit, drive, walk, crawl, kneel or stand as needed
- Move or load supplies and heavy equipment weighing one hundred (100) pounds minimum or request assistance with heavier load
- Install handles, locks and other hardware to prefabricated glass doors
- Must always maintain valid drivers license
- Must always maintain current CT glazier license
- Maintain OSHA 10-hour training
- Scaffold training
- Hazardous material communication
- Housekeeping skills
- All other duties as assigned
