Note: The hourly rate for this position is $25 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining buildings in good condition by performing tasks such as upkeep, preventive maintenance, repair, landscaping, handling air conditioning, heating, pest control, plumbing, and carpentry.  

  • General trade skills (painting, drywall, carpentry, electrical and plumbing)

  • Ability to use common hand and power tools

  • Ability to follow directions and work independently

  • Ability to maintain proper schedules

  • Be in good physical condition and comfortable working outdoors as well as indoors and at varying heights.

  • Strong customer service skills Good communication skills

 Qualifications:

  • Two years minimum working experience in the maintenance or carpentry field 

  • Own tools 

  • OSHA Certification preferred 

  • Verifiable work history that confirms your professional skills and experience 

  • Some Construction Associate assignments have additional screening requirements, such as background checks and/or drug screenings 

  • Valid CT Licensed

  • Reliable work vehicle
