Design and develop data models and architectures to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and manipulation of data in line with project requirements. Create, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), Oracle Data Integrator, and other ETL technologies. Extract data from various source systems, including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, MySQL, and other data repositories. Transform and cleanse data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compatibility with the target systems. Apply business rules and data quality standards as needed. Load transformed data into the destination systems, such as data warehouses, databases, or data lakes. Integrate data from multiple sources to provide a unified view for reporting and analytics. Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to manipulate and analyze data. Optimize ETL processes and database queries to improve data loading and retrieval performance. Administer and maintain database systems, including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and MySQL. Perform tasks like backup and recovery, security management, and schema management. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate data accuracy and ETL process reliability. Perform data profiling and validation checks. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including data models, ETL process documentation, and data dictionaries. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their data requirements and ensure that ETL processes meet their needs. Investigate and resolve data-related issues reported by clients or end-users. Provide timely support and troubleshoot problems effectively. Implement and adhere to data governance practices, including data lineage, data quality monitoring, and data security. Will work in East Brunswick, NJ and/or various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
