Robert Half IT Manager in Easley, South Carolina

Description Robert Half is hiring! We are seeking an IT Manager to join our team in the IT consulting industry. The IT Manager will play a crucial role in managing, mentoring, and developing our team. This role also involves assessing workforce needs, evaluating support trends, and developing service offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of direct reports, providing coaching on workflow, process, communication, and escalation • Assess workforce needs and plan for team growth • Evaluate ticket and support trends to identify and address recurrent issues • Develop and refine service offerings, including defining scope, quality management, and pricing • Participate in client calls and visits as needed • Demonstrate a strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and the ITIL Framework • Apply experience in NOC operations, including CMDB, monitoring and alerting, incident vs problem management, change control, and advanced planning • Utilize experience as a Senior Datacenter engineer, including design, troubleshooting, integration, administration, and experience with Windows, VMWare, HyperV, HPe, SAN (Nimble, EMC), Backup and recovery solutions, Firewall, endpoint protection, and SCCM experience • Apply experience as a Networking Engineer, including design, troubleshooting, integration, administration, and experience with Cisco, Ruckus, Palo Alto, SonicWall. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT industry, preferably in a managerial role.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully managing teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of IT consulting services.

• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans in line with business objectives.

• Proficient in various IT systems, software, and platforms relevant to the industry.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions quickly.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications in IT management or related areas would be advantageous.

• Strong customer service mindset and ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

• Proactive in staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
