Job Title: Metal Assembly Operator 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a Metal Assembly Operator for the 2nd shift in a manufacturing setting. The role involves operating machinery to ensure proper production of metal components. Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment and must monitor their work closely while documenting products that pass through the machines. The shift hours are from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to assemble metal components.

• Monitor and ensure production quality meets standards.

• Document products that pass through the machines.

• Work as auto assemblers or auto pack production workers.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, and machine operation.

• Ability to monitor machines and ensure production standards.

• Manufacturing experience and light assembly line experience.

• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand on your feet for the entire shift.

• Basic data entry skills and ability to count to 100.

Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse with a distinct smell due to the products being processed. Certain rooms have different temperature settings. The facility has a few forklifts and requires appropriate PPE, including hairnets while on the floor. Expect some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust, and atmospheric conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Earth City, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
