Position Summary: The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for coaching and developing sales team members to achieve assigned sales and revenue targets for the Print business while driving employee engagement and retention. The Manager, Inside Sales works as part a leadership team with other sales managers driving to individual team success as well as the success of the department overall. About the Role: Major Responsibility Areas: Ensures the achievement of sales quotas and goals for assigned division. Provides developmental opportunities, delivering feedback and coaching to Inside Sales staff. Sales and sales process coaching represents the majority of the sales manager duties. Looks out for the best interests of each customer and ensures customer satisfaction by proactively addressing customer issues Creates and sustains a working environment that supports a team based selling channel (i.e. professionalism, respect, open communication etc.). Proactively identifies and responds to issues in the department that affect teamwork and goal achievement. Provides innovative and creative solutions in addition to leveraging peers in the problem resolution process. Takes ownership for campaign implementation and ensure the sales campaigns are in line with the goals and objectives of the Inside Sales department. Provides strategic direction around optimizing the role of an Inside Sales Consultant. Monitors performance of Inside Sales Consultants through call monitoring and other measures to ensure customers are receiving prompt, courteous and efficient service. Leads by example through the effective display of personal and professional integrity. Coordinates the release of new policy, procedures, and campaigns as they affect the department. Interviews and hires new Inside Sales Consultants. Monitors progress of Inside Sales Consultants on goals and job accountabilities. Counsel and provide guidance to Inside Sales Consultants with employee relations situations and performance management concerns. Conducts annual performance and salary reviews for Inside Sales Consultants. Implements promotions and job changes within the department. Evaluates opportunity to upgrade the department with additional automation when appropriate. Establishes and maintains good working relationships with field staff. Works with Marketing Managers and Product Managers to establish, develop, and manage Inside Sales programs, which include developing training, creating scripts, identifying and integrating lists, and achieving established targets. Works effectively with other departments to insure smooth flow of information and a cooperative intradepartmental environment. Evaluates and monitors the results of product campaigns. Plans future strategies accordingly. Actively participates in company task force assignments. Assumes other responsibilities as required or requested. About You: Qualifications/Experience: College degree required. Advanced degree preferred. 3-5 years experience in Inside Sales required, preferably in a Business to Business setting. Equivalent applicable experience will be considered. Strong sales coaching experience and skills necessary. Strong leadership, people management, and team building skills necessary. Previous leadership or management experience in a sales environment strongly preferred. Ability to adapt to change Working knowledge of outbound and inbound telesales, basic marketing principles and practices, and personal computer systems. Demonstrated ability to sell and initiate programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate concepts clearly and document procedures. Results-orientated and self-starting characteristics necessary. Proficiency with basic desktop programs, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and a technology aptitude for internal business systems. Strong organizational skills and the ability to exercise judgment in prioritizing tasks in order to meet schedules and deadlines. Strong nalytical skills. Ability to identify problem areas, trends, and opportunities and take the appropriate action. Aptitude for evaluation, problem solving, planning, and organization. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. #LI-D2E What's in it For You?
