CTG is seeking to fill a Software Developer opening for our client in Durham, NC.

Location: Durham, NC or Remote

Duration: 9 months

Pay: Based on Experience

Duties:

• Experience with TCP/IP layer 3 networking protocols including: IPv6, IPv4, ICMP, TLS, IPSec. C/C++ (or similar procedural programming languages).

• Experience developing TCP/IP networking code, especially at the stack level.

• Deep knowledge of the IPv6 protocol, including its header format, routing mechanisms and auto-configuration capabilities.

• Familiarity with reading and interpreting IETF RFCs and other standards specifications documents.

• Willingness to learn and develop in a proprietary language and development environment. Preferred experience developing software on z/OS.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant industry certifications in networking or software development are a plus.

Additional Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50/hr to $65/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
