IQVIA Senior Treasury Director in Durham, North Carolina

Job Overview

Oversee the management of global treasury operations, ensuring the maintenance of corporate liquidity and financial stability.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and manage strategies, operations, policies, and budgets related to treasury activities.

  • Direct development and revision of financial policies for capital structure, working capital, treasury operations, foreign exchange risk management and interest rate risk management.

  • Manage and direct relationships with banks and other financial institutions, arranging for external financing, and overseeing day-to-day liquidity management activities.

  • Provide recommendations on short and long-term strategic planning which would impact the company’s financial practices, the maintenance of its fiscal records, and the preparation of its financial reports.

  • Develop strategies to manage and mitigate foreign exchange exposure and interest rate risk.

  • Manage liquidity / investments to ensure subsidiaries have adequate funding, preserve company’s assets, and obtain reasonable returns.

  • Oversee the financial reporting process as it relates to treasury activities.

  • Manage and improve the operations of the domestic treasury system.

  • Develop, implement, and manage international treasury systems including cross-border and cross-currency cash pools.

  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement banking services, products, and financial electronic data interchange systems.

  • Oversee the management of the domestic lockbox process.

  • Formulate treasury related financial policies and ensures policies and procedures meet corporate objectives and needs, and regulatory body requirements.

  • Act as a liaison to Business Development and Project Managers to incorporate treasury issues into contracts.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 15 years’ accounting experience in key functional area required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.

  • Knowledge of treasury operations (both domestic and international).

  • Knowledge of capital markets, finance, and tax.

  • Knowledge of general accounting rules, concepts, and regulations.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients.

  • Professional Accountancy accreditation.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $148,400.00 - $275,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
