Scope of Position: In this role, you will provide technical engineering support to the molding and assembly areas. We look for you to focus on project management, process development, process control and discipline implementation, and troubleshooting of production processes.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Process troubleshooting on existing products

  • Provide production departments with technical support to make continuous and step change improvements

  • Use statistical methods for product and process analysis

  • Utilize continuous improvements relative to HPWS pyramid sections for Process Discipline and Control

  • Implement cost reduction programs

  • Assist in process development on new molds and equipment as they move through the validation process

Travel Requirements:

  • Limited, 10% domestic

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

  • Standard business hours; Monday – Friday

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Plastics or Extrusion Engineering or similar degree program

Required Years and Area of Experience:

  • 0-2+ years process or project engineering experience

  • You will need relative engineering experience

  • We will also consider co-op and internship experience

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of plastic molding technologies

  • Experience within a manufacturing plant environment

  • Familiarity with process data management applications/systems

  • Able to handle multiple complex tasks

  • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Applications

Desired Experience / Qualifications / Skills:

  • Experience with CAD drafting; Solidworks

The range for this position is $66,664.00 - $91,663.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
