Job Title: 3D Model Finisher

Location: Research Triangle Park, NC

Pay rate: $21/hr (W2 Contract)

What’s the Job?

As a 3D Model Finisher, you will be part of the Digital Engineering department supporting the 3D Printing & Prototyping team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, hands-on, and a team player.

• Clean and finish 3D printed models to precise specifications.

• Operate 3D printing equipment for routine maintenance and production.

• Utilize precision measurement tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.

• Maintain laboratory supplies and explore new finishing techniques.

• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in model finishing, machining, or 3D printing preferred.

• Experience with 3D printing technologies (e.g., SLA, DLS, DLP, PolyJet, FFF) is a strong plus.

• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and CAD software desirable.

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
