Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Casino EVS Shift Manager in Durant, Oklahoma
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for providing guidance, guidance, and training to all EVS team members following all approved policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the facility meets the highest standard of cleanliness. Responsible for timekeeping, payroll, disciplinary actions, performance planning, budget planning / managing. You will report to the Environmental Services Manager.
Primary Tasks:
You will manage coordinate, all needed information of activities of associates engaged in cleaning and maintaining facilities to ensure all sections and areas are adequately covered. Ensuring all needed information is communicated so that all required tasks are completed.
Conduct inspections of all public areas, office, back-of-the-house, and Casino to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Communicating needs with leadership team.
Handle disciplinary actions, performance management by making recommendation for promotions, demotions, or termination, hiring, interviewing, scheduling, and training, and auditing/inspecting work of team members to ensure standards are met.
Timekeeping which includes termination, hiring, evaluations, compensation, and completion of needed task in Hoshonti.
You will ensure supplies for Environmental Services. Responsible for inventory/security of supplies. Ordering supplies.
Respond quickly and resolve emergency facility needs/issues involving safety/security/requirements.
Help develop procedures for responsibilities.
Develop training for new hires and staff to perform job tasks. Support supervisor levels for future growth.
Immediately resolve customer/associate/management concerns.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Computer skills to include Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, Outlook, and Internet.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Understand government public health and, or safety regulations/requirements.
Be willing/able to perform job tasks of team members (except technical positions).
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team.
Six (6) months prior supervisory experience required with maintenance experience helpful.
