Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Gift Shop Cashier, you will greet customers and assisting customers in locating items. You will report to the Retail Supervisor, Shift Manager, or Gift Shop Manager.

Job Summary: Choctaw Casino & Resort is seeking a friendly and reliable individual to join our team as a Gift Shop Cashier. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions efficiently, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere in our gift shop.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with their purchases in a courteous and professional manner.

Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle cash accurately.

Maintain a clean and organized gift shop environment.

Stock shelves, arrange displays, and ensure merchandise is presented attractively.

Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products and promotions.

Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

Assist with receiving and unpacking merchandise deliveries.

Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous cashier or retail experience preferred.

Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.

Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
