Job Description Summary Seeking an asphalt laborer who will be responsible for shoveling and raking asphalt material along with other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements Physical ability to operate equipment under temperature extremes and for extended hours of time. Normal shift is 8-12 hours. The selected candidate will be required to work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers. Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task. Properly follow all Company policies and OSHA guidelines for a safe working environment. Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project. Operate and maintain various vehicles, machinery and other equipment used on the job site. Must be able to shovel and rake asphalt material. Responsible for upkeep of tools and work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Overtime work required. Out of town/county/state work may be required. Ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined with ability to learn in a fast paced environment. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. Attitude/Cooperation: Must always maintain a courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, public. Must pass drug test and criminal background check.

Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
