Education Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with a preference in criminal justice, psychology, related field.

Work Experience:

2 years of experience

Full-time experience as a licensed law enforcement officer, assigned to the duty of field investigations, auditing, or in a major operational area within a criminal justice agency

Program development and implementation

Violence Prevention Training and Awareness experience

Experience in researching, developing, and facilitating training to adult learners

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in areas of political science, security studies, applied intelligence, business and/or public administration, security management, or a related field of study preferred.

Healthcare security experience.

Project management, development and implementation experience.

Job Description:

Responsible for supporting all aspects of security and threat management at Essentia Health to include leading and coordinating the Threat Assessment Team (TAT), conduct broad and focused threat assessments, and conduct in-depth investigations pertaining to criminal activity and allegations of misconduct by employees. This position will be responsible for identifying threat assessment best practices, engaging key stakeholders with effective program analysis, developing staff training, and helping establish proactive policies and protocols as well as enhancing reporting outcomes.Oversee security strategy and execution in area facilities. Supervise security personnel in area sites and is the security consultant for site leaders. Work in an actively collaborative manner fostering close working relationships with Essentia Health facilities and departments. Manage security budget and planning. Responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, and monitoring of all Security Management Plan activities. Provide guidance, as requested, to system facilities, such as clinics and other hospitals.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Professional Certified Investigator through ASIS preferred.

Certified Threat Manager through ATAP preferred.
