About the role:

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a Supervisor for the Energy Account Executive Team. You will supervise activities related to custom MV offers and large projects by developing and maintaining the necessary resources.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Has direct responsibility for all assigned team members: from performance, human resource, training and coaching perspectives.

  • Provides feedback and solutions for management consideration.

  • Instills a focus on customer service to all team members.

  • Effectively evaluates and adjusts team workload, as necessary.

  • Drives improvements by recommending and implementing KPIs to review the processes, the performance of the team, the response time and the overall quality of service.

  • Reviews current processes and finds solutions to improve and streamline (eliminate no value activities).

  • Increases effectiveness by providing tools, training, and standardized processes that support daily operations.

  • Establishes short and medium-term goals for both themselves and the team.

  • Implements training programs and procedure changes, as necessary, to support improved team performance.

  • Interacts with all other department Supervisors/Managers to improve relationships and communication between departments for both internal and external teams. -

  • Regularly mentors team members and trains new hires. -

  • Make customer and vendor visits as required. -

  • Supplies regular feedback to the Company regarding Customer Satisfaction. -

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization-s policies and applicable laws.

  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance. -

  • Responsible for addressing employee complaints and resolving problems. -

  • To plan and implement specific actions for each Market Segment, detecting new business opportunities, increasing our customer base. -

  • Support WEC ESMs, TAMs and Customers on all LV ANEMA and MV/HV machines related topics, as necessary. -

  • Interact with WEG factories worldwide, as necessary, to support WEG USA goals and customers' requirements.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

Knowledge / training:

  • Leadership skills and decision-making abilities

  • Proven ability to interact and communicate (written and verbal) with internal and external customers and vendors.

  • Knowledge of electrical industrial equipment, including power electronics and rotating machines as well as how this equipment works as a system.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and shift work activities in order to meet business needs.

  • Must be able to independently arrange and organize work efforts on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Must be able to meet tight deadlines. Must be able to handle multiple assignments on a consistent basis and effectively maintain schedules and milestones.

  • Training others on departmental and company strategy, as well as describing the effect of required actions.

  • Ability to conduct process flow mapping activities and use quality tools.

  • Strong PC skills required, including use of standard MS Office applications. Strong working knowledge of Excel and MS Project required. SAP experience preferred.

Education:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience
