The Demand Planning Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Demand Planning team with analytics, planning, reporting, and ad hoc requests. The Analyst will be a key user of the JDA, GRP, BIX@, and GBS systems and support the team as needed in these systems. The Analyst will assist with data analytics, lead weekly/monthly reporting, and will act as a backup Demand Planner.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key User of JDA, GRP, BIX@ and GBS systems:
Represent team in Global trainings
Lead change management process in all systems
Responsible for Data Management activities in all systems
Accountable for training of other users
Maintain and publish Inventory at Risk report (monthly and as needed):
Pull data from systems to build report
Reflect impact of short dating
Ensure accuracy of COGS and monetize excess inventory
Summarize in clear tables/charts for use in Species S&OPs
Identify key drivers to Demand Planning team
Conduct weekly review and maintain/publish both local and global Stock Out reports and Supply Impact Reconciliation report:
Maintain stock out Access database
Lead weekly meetings between Demand Planning and Supply Planning to establish root cause, back order amounts, and estimated replenishment dates and volumes
Responsible for completing Global Stock Out report monthly before deadlines
Run ad hoc open sales orders report to identify back orders
Determine lost sales vs. Budget driven by supply and enter into global Supply Impact Reconciliation report monthly
Lead annual local Product Portfolio Optimization (PPO) process for Demand Planning team
Identify low volume and margin SKUs as potential candidates for rationalization
Drive discussion within Demand Planning team to determine proper SKUs for rationalization
Ensure systems updated to reflect draw down of inventory and eventually termination
Assist team with global Complaint Resolution process across all Species:
Lead resolution process to create and finalize submissions
Update MS Teams database for complaints
Enter complaints in BIX@
Follow up with Global LIM team
Act as backup Demand Planner:
Attend relevant Species Demand reviews and S&OPs
Perform additional tasks to support Demand Planning team
Support Demand Planning with ad hoc reports and requests as needed
Responsible to develop Demand Management KPIs Dashboard
Requirements
BA or BS degree in Business or related field and minimum 3 years work experience (Supply Chain experience preferred)
Advanced experience with MS Excel/Access/PowerPoint/Word/PowerBI
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrated multitasking and prioritization of competing objectives
Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas, facts, and technical information to management and other internal customers both verbally and written
Ability to train user groups and key stakeholders
Experience with Demand Forecasting and Net Requirements Planning preferred
Experience with SAP preferred
Eligibility Requirements:
