As a Retail Management Intern, you will experience a Slice of Life with Casey's from a Store Manager's perspective. Experiencing an internship will allow you to gain valuable experience which can make all the difference when determining what career path is best for you. Casey's wants to help you gain that experience and showcase how rewarding a career with a Fortune 400 company can be! During this 13-week period, you will learn all aspects of the convenience store business, including food service, and learn to incorporate Casey's mission to positively influence the daily lives of our guests and communities. You'll collaborate and develop partnerships with the store leadership team, store team members, and store support partners so you have a thorough understanding of Casey's and the business behind our convenience store!

This Store Manager Internship will provide you with:

  • Knowledge of guest service and building and developing a team focused on a great guest experience

  • Skills in quick resolution problem solving

  • Coaching, training, and teaching of an hourly store leadership team in collaboration with current Store Manager

  • Knowledge of the convenience store business and how to drive key performance indicators by learning about our three-prong strategy around gasoline, restaurant, and retail.

  • A connection to your community through consistent and reliable guest service

  • Leadership and communication skills through interaction with a store team and guest interaction

  • Business acumen to drive a successful retail business and quick service kitchen

  • Influence improvements in store operations processes

  • Developing and refining self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, motivation, and social skills.
