What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.
This position is remote and can work any place in USA.
Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of Account Reconciliations between financial system and Credit Card Merchant
Knowledge and strong understanding of Credit Card Dispute research
Understanding of Accounts Receivable / Cash Application process and policies
Leading a functional work team within a cash application Credit Card team focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of customer payments and accounting transactions
Fully managing resource planning and scheduling, work audits, development, periodic performance review of team members including feedback and coaching to create a learning atmosphere among team members
Ensuring Key Performance Indicators are met with the pre-defined objectives and defining tasks to ensure delivery of services to assigned business partners in accordance with Service Level agreements
Performing analysis of Payment files, Merchant files and reconciliation of GL accounts and highlighting and resolving discrepancies for correction and conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary
Acting as point of contact for all process/people related escalations
Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines; audit and procedures developing and maintaining systems, procedures and policies, including credit card cash application functions to ensure adherence to company guidelines
Acting as the point of contact for external, internal and SOX audits and leading the internal control over account reconciliation and issue resolution and testing.
Identifying, recommending and assisting in implementation of best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains across the enterprise
Qualifications
2-4 years of related work experience, preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Some accounting background would be ideal (strongly preferred)
Credit Card Reconciliation experience (strongly preferred)
Leadership experience strongly preferred
Strong organizational and task oriented skills preferred
Project Mangement experience is also ideal

Anticipated salary range: $55,400 - $79,200
