About Mount Carmel Dublin:

Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided:

  • 14-bay emergency department

  • 10-bay observation unit

  • 30 acute inpatient beds

  • 4 operating rooms

  • Level 1 cardiac capability

  • Advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing

  • Attached MOB

The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for:

  • Primary Care, Neurology

  • Cardiology

  • Vascular

  • Other independent specialists

Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.

This position will be hired to staff Mount Carmel Dublin. While construction is underway, the majority of training will take place at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s located at 500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. We are expecting Mount Carmel Dublin to open Spring of 2025.

About the job:

  • The Clinical Coordinator functions in coordinating Respiratory Services continuing education, monitoring and updating policy and procedures, Performance Improvement activities. Acts as a resource person in relating current standards of practice for Respiratory Therapy.

  • Works in a collaborative capacity with the Manager and other members of the management teams in assessing and evaluating services provided by the departments.

  • Functions in a staff capacity within the hospital setting, in addition to shift supervision as scheduled.

  • Practices within the scope of current Respiratory Therapy guideline policies and procedures.

  • Provides direct patient care for supplemental staffing needs.

  • Maintains confidentiality in all situations involving Mount Carmel, customers and stakeholders.

  • Acts in a supervisory capacity in the absence of the Director, when requested.

  • Participates in community activities sponsored by Mount Carmel Health Systems.

  • Facilitates new program development and implementation.

  • Assists with preparation of annual performance evaluations.

  • Responsible for compliance with Organizational Integrity through raising questions and promptly reporting actual or potential wrongdoing.

  • All other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Licensure / Certification:

  • Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License to practice in the State of Ohio.

  • National Board Respiratory Credential indicating registered (No expiration for those in a program prior to 7/1/02)

  • Experience: Five years of experience in all aspects of Respiratory Care.

  • Effective Communication Skills

  • Maintains current BLS and NRP certification.

  • Ability to apply experience, analysis, intuition and communication skills in conducting departmental inservices and Performance Improvement programs.

  • Ability to apply experience, analysis, intuition, and communication skills in maintaining the quality of services provided by the Respiratory Services department.

  • Demonstrates leadership abilities, human relation skills, decision making, ability to generate ideas and innovations in a patient-oriented Respiratory Services department.
