CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Technical Coordinator to join the team located in Dublin. The successful candidate will provide electrical and controls support service to CBRE as part of the maintenance and operations team, and ensure operations, maintenance and repairs are carried out in compliance to relevant SLAs, SOP’s and GxP requirements where required.

Key Responsibilities

· To carry out routine Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance work generated on work orders to meet service level agreements and to respond to emergency breakdowns across site.

· To ensure correct and effective system operation of electrical and control systems on site and at other CBRE sites

· To liaise and communicate as needed with end users/customers to determine requirements in a respectful, pro-active, professional manner.

· To specify and order supplies or materials as needed for work, develop standardised PM structure for all site buildings and monitor changes required.

· To carry out routine planned electrical maintenance tasks on a range of utilities, plant and equipment as required. Typical activities may include, but are not limited to: PAT testing, IR surveying, continuity testing, lighting checks, breaker testing, tests, repairs and maintenance.

· Complete all site lighting repairs and replacements.

· To monitor and respond to BMS alarms

· Support other CBRE site functions in delivering exceptional service to our client.

· Ensure all health, safety and environmental requirements are fulfilled prior to work commencement. Ensure all works activities are carried out within agreed time lines, while ensuring safe systems of work (RA, MS, SPA and Permits) are adhered to.

· To complete small projects, both electrical and controls when necessary, with full responsibility from planning, ordering parts, installation, testing, commissioning and documentation.

· To carry out other routine planned maintenance tasks on a range of utilities, plant and equipment as required. Typical activities may include minor civil repairs on roadways or buildings, furniture or equipment removal, carpentry, plumbing, painting, joinery, landscaping, window, drain or gutter cleaning, sweeping, snow or ice clearance, door maintenance and fire extinguisher checks, general waste clearance and MEWP, or fork truck licensed. (Desirable, but not essential), in times of reduced electrical work demand.

· Ensure documentation of work activities to GxP requirements are adhered to using both paper based and CMMS systems.

· To update and utilise site CMMS systems for recording of work activities.

· Assist in keeping buildings and work areas or storage areas clean and tidy.

· To adopt a right-first-time attitude, continuous improvement policy and pride in one’s work to attain the highest levels of craftsmanship.

· To work on different site locations as part of a mobile CBRE site services team.

· The role requires an individual with a customer focused proactive attitude and technical strengths, combined with an ability to communicate effectively under constant pressure with a multitude of stakeholders

· Carry out any duties as required by the Technical Operations Manager

· Assist with the direct supervision of CBRE vendors/contractors on site to ensure a comprehensive Contractor Management System.

· To be flexible and adaptable to new working methods, practises, plant, equipment or procedures.

· To maintain electrical and control systems, plant and work equipment in good order.

· The post holder will follow safe systems of work, taking reasonable care of their own health and safety, and that of others. Eliminating or reducing risks where practicable by complying with site safety rules and instructions and reporting hazards to management for prompt action. They will complete method statement, risk assessments, Safe Plans of Actions, and Permits associated with their work activities

Education/skills

· Strong solid work experience in large multi-national industry

· CMMS Experience

· Building Services Experience

· Strong interpersonal / communication skills

· PC Literature

· Mechanical or Electrical Trade
