Our GTM Strategy & Operations organization is responsible for building the ultimate go-to-market engine to connect our solutions with customer needs at scale. As a GTM Strategy & Operations Senior Associate for the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions you will be taking on a leadership role to help crack the most important strategic topics in the sales organization, driving revenue growth and improving sales productivity and customer value. In 2023, this also means thinking with an AI-first mentality and leveraging the latest tools at our disposal to create smart, efficient and scalable processes for our Sales organization, as well as being comfortable with complex data queries, data management and visualizations. 

This individual will act as an advisor to executives in the sales organization and is responsible for helping crack the most important strategic and operational problems facing the business. As a GTM Strategy & Operations Sr Associate, you will be partnering with senior sales executives to assess business performance and derive actionable insights focused on driving revenue growth, sales productivity, and customer value. The Senior Associate is also responsible for leading, program managing, and scaling operational and planning processes (e.g. building sales territories, setting sales targets, and leveraging AI for this) in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Product, Marketing, Customer Success). 

The Senior Associate should have a strong strategic mindset and communications skills and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical business decisions. The candidate should also be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information, have attention to detail, be open-minded to challenge the status quo, and work on a rapidly changing organization while inspiring excellence from themselves and business partners. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead and provide recommendations on a variety of decision-making projects that will shape LinkedIn’s future go-to-market model. 

  • Act like an owner in driving end-to-end leadership of all planning processes – headcount, financial plan, territory plan, and quota planning by project managing at scale. 

  • Optimize and scale processes with automation and AI in partnership with Data Science and Engineering. 

  • Operate as liaison and POC for LMS sales leadership teams across geographies, with a focus in EMEA

  • Drive a strong day-to-day operating cadence, including managing forecasting, pipeline, territory and quotas, reporting infrastructure, policies and management meetings

  • Lead strategic projects to determine the direction of the global GTM Ops team and help establish operating priorities to drive business growth. 

  • Play a vital role in driving annual forecasting and strategic planning process through data-driven recommendations to restructure regional teams and optimize productivity

  • Establish strong working relationships with peers in other GTM Strategy & Operations teams and cross-functional partners (business operations, sales leadership, product, finance, marketing, and systems teams) to achieve objectives. 

  • Perform complex data analysis and share insights by leveraging tools like SQL, Tableau, Anaplan, SFDC. 

  • Contribute to the “people-first” culture of the team by taking on projects to drive engagement and motivation within the team. 

*Basic Qualifications *

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, finance, sales operations, business operations, or an analytical/operational role. 

  • 3+ years of experience operating with SQL

*Preferred Qualifications *

  • 2+ years of experience working in sales organizations

  • 2+ years of experience in working with Tableau, SQL and/or Presto, Anaplan, Power BI 

  • Experience with AI (Prompt engineering, business process and workflow automation) or a strong and demonstrable interest in learning this space. 

  • Ability to leverage numbers and insights to influence & drive sound decision making. 

  • Experience in communicating effectively and presenting to Senior Executives. 

  • Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders. 

  • MBA or Master’s degree in business, economics, data science, engineering, or other STEM. 

  • Experience working in the SaaS or Ads Tech industry. 

  • Experience in Product Strategy and/or Product Management. 

  • Experience in Data Science and/or Data Analytics. 

  • Motivation to stand out from the crowd, disrupting the norm to help their business win. 

  • Ability to effectively solve complex problems from high priority strategic initiatives.
