Citigroup Securities Derivatives Analyst (Hybrid) in Dublin, Ireland

Team/Position Overview

The Issuer Services Department is part of the wider ISG Group. The Department contains a diverse section of units which support our Issuer Services Clients, Product and Sales partners. The services we provide include Depository servicing, Issuing & Paying agency services and Specialised Agency functions such as Account Bank, Project Finance, Structured Finance and Escrow Agent functions.

Typical Corporate Trust clients of Citi include major international and national-level corporations, financial institutions (FIs), banks, and public sector/sovereign Debt issuers, as well as investment banks, asset managers, and stand-alone collateral managers.

What you will do:

  • Payment processing / reconciliation.

  • Static data review and input. Review of deal documentation.

  • Trade processing and settlement.

  • Client Service - liaise with both internal and external client base.

  • Prepare and submit periodic internal and external regulatory reports

  • Liaise effectively with other teams and departments to resolve issues, share knowledge & drive process improvements.

  • Participate in any Department projects as required and support Department Manager in achievement of overall department goals.

  • Focus on quality, ensuring all processes are conducted to the highest standard.

  • Fostering a close relationship with Key stakeholders; Issuers, Product, and Depositories and have responsibility to manage internal and external client relationships, to ensure Department responsibilities and objectives are met.

  • Provide effective communication and maintain a close working relationship with operational Risk and Control team and Front office.

What we'll need from you:

  • Financial Services experience. Payments or documentation review experience would be of benefit.

  • Ideally from an Operations background with a broad understanding of banking operations and securities services.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • A strong understanding of Operational Risk related functions and processes – payments experience.

  • Proven ability to execute.

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills; ability to build and maintain effective networks and relationships.

  • Good understanding of general MS software packages (Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
