The Identity Security team within Microsoft’s Security organization protects users, organizations and systems that rely on Microsoft’s identity solutions from unauthorized access and fraud.

As a Senior Product Manager (#identityjobs) you will spearhead the development and product roadmap of our Self-service password reset product for Microsoft Entra ID (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/security/business/identity-access/microsoft-entra-id) . Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping solutions that secure users in the face of a growing threat landscape and providing world-class experiences built on top of modern authentication and recovery, along with flexibility required for administrative efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product and product capabilities in close partnership with customers every step of the way.

  • You will own and drive end-to-end experiences and strategic roadmap as a Subject Matter Expert.

  • Design and build product capabilities with engineering.

  • Engage customers to validate, design, refine product offering and enable customer adoption.

  • You will support our customers, customer support and engineering teams with product readiness through documentation, blogs, presentations, and collaboration.

  • You will work closely with customer support and our engineering teams and share customer needs and prioritize work.

  • Develop collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and drive alignment.

  • Embody our Culture and Values.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant undergraduate degree.

  • Extensive product management experience with a proven track record of delivering successful and scalable solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and critically about product features, architectures, and capabilities coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non‐technical. Native or professional fluency in English.

Other Qualifications

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Identity security technologies is useful.

  • Experience interacting with enterprise customers and building admin persona focused products.

  • Previous experience of working closely with multinational teams building great products.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership and effective cross-team skills.
