Google Head of Regional Partnerships in Dublin, Ireland

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • 14 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA

  • Experience managing and leading complex multi-year projects

  • Ability to influence and lead without authority while successfully managing multiple competing priorities

  • Ability to work and collaborate with senior executive stakeholders and co-develop strategic roadmaps as a trusted advisor

  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and planning skills

  • Excellent negotiation and written/verbal communication skills, having the confidence, gravitas and acumen to clearly articulate commercial thinking in a compelling way, persuading and influencing to gain stakeholder commitment

The Head of EMEA Regional Partnerships is a key member of the Business Partnership team. In this role, you will influence, design, and implement strategic roadmaps that deliver comprehensive value creation across the procurement lifecycle. The core objective is to drive value creation across the entire procurement lifecycle within the region. This goes beyond cost reduction and encompasses strategic alignment, demand planning, innovation, capability building, risk mitigation, market share growth, industry expertise, efficiency enhancement, first-to-market strategies, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), and geopolitical risk mitigation.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

  • Lead GPO support for a product area(s), acting as the key account manager and the 'advocate of procurement' to product area leadership representing GPO on relevant strategy development and planning forums. Serve as the entry point and point of escalation for all procurement related topics.

  • Lead, collaborate, and develop the overall procurement product area strategic roadmap in close collaboration with other procurement teams and the business product area.

  • Own successful outcomes at velocity and coordinate cross-functional procurement teams that support these initiatives.

  • Demonstrate excellent stakeholder focus, providing support, advice, and a ‘can do’ attitude that balances stakeholder requirements with proportionate risk management.

  • Develop a clear understanding of business needs and develop trusted partner relationships.
