Your role at Clorox:

The Director of Vendor Management Office (VMO) and Transformation Office is a leadership role within the Global Business Services (GBS) function of Clorox. This position is responsible for overseeing vendor relationships, driving vendor performance excellence, and leading transformational initiatives across GBS to enhance operational efficiencies, cost savings, and service delivery. The Director will lead cross-functional teams to align vendor management strategies with the company’s overall business goals while driving digital and process transformation initiatives to optimize GBS operations.

In this role, you will:

Vendor Management Function : Establishes the Vendor Management function, including key cross-functional relationships that leverage the expertise of corporate procurement and legal services. Ensures that VMO services are scalable to organizational growth

  • Performance Monitoring : Establish and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor 3rd Party VMO partner’s performance. Use analytics and reporting to drive continuous improvements.

  • Vendor Selection and Onboarding : Partner with corporate procurement in the selection and onboarding process of strategic vendors contracts, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legal requirements.

  • Risk Management : Identify and escalate vendor-related risks, ensuring business continuity and adherence to SLAs.

  • Vendor Governance : Ensure proper governance structures are in place, leading quarterly business reviews with internal stakeholders to drive accountability and performance for the VMO.

  • Stakeholder Management: Be the single point of contact for internal stakeholders in their interaction with the VMO ensuring that internal SLAs are met. Gathers key stakeholder input regarding needs, service delivery, and quality, to ensure business alignment in partnership with Procurement and Contract Services

Transformation Office:

  • Partner Management: Manage Accenture as a Vendor for the TO and ensure end to end management of the vendor including billing.

  • Transformation Office Function: Establish the transformation office function and implement the Momentum tool in partnership with 3rd party vendor.

  • Strategic Leadership : Lead the Transformation Office, driving strategic initiatives to modernize and optimize GBS operations, focusing on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and process automation.

  • Change Management : Serve as a change agent by promoting a culture of continuous improvement, driving change management initiatives, and ensuring smooth implementation of transformation projects across Clorox.

  • Digital Transformation : Oversee the adoption of digital tools, automation technologies, and data analytics to streamline processes and drive GBS service excellence.

  • Project Management : Partner with PMO function to lead and manage large-scale transformation projects from concept to implementation, ensuring alignment with GBS and corporate strategic objectives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to ensure alignment on transformation goals, priorities, and outcomes. Communicate project progress, risks, and impacts to all relevant stakeholders.

  • Innovation & Best Practices : Identify and implement industry best practices to enhance GBS efficiency and service delivery, focusing on global scalability and innovation.

Deductions Recovery Management:

  • Strategic Leadership : Lead the Team to recover the invalid deductions, driving strategic initiatives to modernize deductions recovery processes, focusing on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and process automation.

  • Digital Transformation : Oversee the adoption of digital tools, automation technologies, and data analytics to streamline recovery processes and drive GBS service excellence.

  • Project Management : Partner with Genpact and to lead and manage Genpact Outsourced team to ensure we hit targets on deduction recoveries and works closely with OTC and sales teams.

  • Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with senior leaders in sales and OTC across the organization to ensure alignment on mutual goals, priorities, and outcomes. Communicate project progress, risks, and impacts to all relevant stakeholders.

What we look for:

Years and Type of Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in GBS within a large, matrixed organization.

  • Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation and process improvement initiatives within a Global Business Services or shared services environment.

  • Experience with managing the performance of captive or 3rd party offshore service providers

  • Experience with working in a matrix organization and functioning as a single point of contact for senior stakeholders

Skills and Abilities:

  • Technology, including Microsoft Word, Excel (pivot tables, charts, formulas), SharePoint, Smartsheet, large ERP systems

  • Attention to detail
