Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to perform breakdown and routine preventative maintenance on production machinery. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and quality related problems.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Performing all the duties of a Maintenance Technician in keeping production and support equipment operational and processes going

• Troubleshoot difficult equipment issues using blueprints, equipment manuals and internet resources while utilizing an advanced skill set in most of the following areas: pneumatics, PLC, machinery, hydraulics, welding, and electrical.

• Participating in all safety and regulatory training needed to fulfill the duties of the position.

• Follow all plant safety rules and regulations, wear PPE as required per procedures

• Taking initiative to resolve issues while receiving little instruction on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments

• Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• Availability to work a rotating 12 hour, night shift work schedule.

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)

• Must have at least 2 years’ experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Preferred technical degree in an industrial maintenance program of study.

• Excellent math skills and complex blueprint reading, drawings, notes, and computer skills

• Qualified in the maintenance and repair of pneumatics, PLC, machinery, welding, and electrical
