Cardinal Health Executive Assistant in Dublin CAH Office, Ireland

We are currently looking to recruit an Executive Assistant based in our Dublin office in Ireland, reporting to the President International Channel Partnership, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Business & Administrative Support is a critical function that ensures the smooth and efficient operation of general business activities through a comprehensive array of administrative and data support tasks.

Administration plays a pivotal role in supporting their assigned work team by performing a wide range of administrative functions. These include providing high-level support to two Presidents and may extend to assisting executives in budget preparation, meticulous record maintenance, and generating detailed reports on various operational and personnel matters. The role requires proficiency in using company software to compile and generate complex reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence, and presentations. Additionally, it involves designing processes to enhance workflow efficiency and serving as the primary administrative liaison for both internal and external administrative issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Training:

Take the lead in effectively applying and teaching new processes and skills to accomplish a diverse range of assignments.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced peers, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Expertise Application:

  • Apply in-depth knowledge and expertise beyond one's immediate area of specialization to tackle complex and technically challenging tasks.

  • Proactively identify potential problems and develop effective solutions for the team.

Independent Work:

  • Work independently to interpret and apply company procedures and policies to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with all office and legal requirements specific to the location, acting as the backup for the International President’s Executive Assistant.

Workflow Enhancement:

  • Design and implement processes to streamline workflow and improve overall efficiency.

  • Serve as a liaison for administrative issues, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve any challenges that arise.

Experience and Skills:

  • Extensive experience working across different time zones, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability and confidence in a multicultural environment.

  • Project management skills would be a plus.

  • Proven track record in managing highly dynamic and ever-changing diaries for senior executives.

  • Expertise in organizing complex travel arrangements and itineraries.

  • Significant experience supporting C-level executives, showcasing a high level of professionalism and discretion.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • A proactive mindset with a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

  • Experience working in a multinational corporate environment is highly desirable.

  • Proven ability to thrive in a busy environment with numerous internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in administrative or executive support roles.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or technical certification in a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in office software and tools required for data compilation and report generation.
