Seeking 3 Concrete Finisher Carpenters!

Location: South San Francisco Project

Shift: Monday - Friday 6AM - 2:30PM

Description:

A concrete finisher in a commercial setting is responsible for ensuring that concrete surfaces are smooth, level, and properly finished. Here are some key responsibilities and tasks typically associated with this role:

Key Responsibilities

Setting Forms: Aligning and setting up forms to ensure the concrete has the correct depth and pitch.

Mixing and Pouring: Mixing concrete to the right consistency and pouring it into forms.

Spreading and Leveling: Using tools like trowels, screeds, and floats to spread, level, and smooth the concrete.

Finishing: Applying techniques to finish the concrete surface, such as troweling, edging, and brushing.

Curing: Applying curing compounds to ensure the concrete sets properly.

Texturing and Patterning: Creating textured or patterned surfaces by imprinting designs into the fresh concrete.

Monitoring Conditions: Keeping an eye on weather conditions and adjusting techniques to ensure proper curing.

Cutting Joints: Using saws and other tools to cut expansion joints into the concrete.

Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
