One of our clients in the Dublin area is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist on a contract to permanent placement opportuniy.

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

• Verify transactions and checks for accuracy.

• Handle vendor inquiries and in discrepancies.

• Maintain the general ledger.

• Prepare, process, and maintain various reports and records related to accounts payable.

• Process monthly credit card statements.

• Assist in month end closing.

• Maintain vendors' data in accounting system.

  Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

• At least 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable position.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with accounting software.

• Strong data entry, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
