We are a motivated and a self-driven team housed within the Electrification & Automation Business unit. We are responsible for the Business development & Sales of the IoT and cybersecurity applications across all customer segments within the Electrification & Automation Business Unit.

By driving technical promotion, marketing & sales activities of IoT and cybersecurity applications, we are accelerating the digital transformation with Siemens Xcelerator market place and delivering Value Propositions across the IoT and cybersecurity application portfolio spectrum.

Job Overview

  • As Technical promotor of IoT software & Cyber Security applications, you will drive awareness for digital IoT products and cyber security applications in all market segments, focus on customers and creating sales leads of software and connected hardware.

  • You will be responsible for continuous and profitable order intake for the new growing IoT business within the Electrification & Automation business unit.

  • You will also develop potential customer accounts for the digital IoT portfolio.

  • You will coordinate activities with line manager, colleagues in HQ, factories, proposals & order execution teams and site services teams.

  • You will be responsible for providing first level of technical support to customers on products and their integration into power systems, interacting with Product Manager and Proposal teams.

  • You will monitor the market and competition, identify trends/ market requirement and new business opportunities.

  • You will manage receiving the sales enquiries, entry in the CRM tool, coordinate with proposals for making offers, conduct negotiations and receive orders.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers being responsive, trustworthy and reliable partner for the business

Your profile

  • You have a bachelors degree in electrical & electronics engineering.

  • You have atleast 1 to 2 years of working experience, preferably in the field of IoT/digitalization/MV&LV switchgear products.

  • Exposure to IoT technologies, cloud technology, protocols, and communication standards, routing, wireless communications (e.g., MQTT, Modbus TCP/IP, IEC61850,) are necessary.

  • You have experience in dealing with end users / consultants / contractors.

  • Product and system knowledge of medium & low-voltage switchgear, experience with E-Houses is an advantage.

  • You are characterized by communication skills, teamwork skills by commitment and reliability as well as by a sense of responsibility and resilience.

  • You have a good command of written and spoken in English. Further language skills are highly appreciated.

  • You are proficient in MS office applications and common CRM tools
