A Mixologist s is responsible forcreating unique bespoke Cocktails a la minute for our Guest as well as a top knowledge about Beverage trends and the Dubai Market.

Recommendations onwines and having a thorough and current knowledge of wines to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while assisting with achieving departmental targetsis an additional requirement.

What will I be doing?

As a Mixologist you will be assisting the F&B Team in their operation by creating memorable experiences at the Guest with unique creations as well as wine recommendations.

• Vast Knowledge of spirits and business trends
• Deep knowledge about mixology and the craft of creating drinks
• WSET 2 Spirits
• Creating of Beverage / cocktail lists for all F&B outlets

• Being knowledgeable about Beverage costing and pricing

• Provide professional and current knowledge of wines to guests

• Recommend wines to accompany relevant dishes to patrons
• Describe and up-sell wines to provide excellent customer experience
• Suggest wines to accompany new menus in line with financial budget
• Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
• Ensure accurate billing
• Strive to achieve departmental targets
• Serve Alcoholic/non-Alcoholic beverages in conjunction with licensing/liquor regulations for residents and non-residents
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
• Attend training provided by the hotel

• Previous luxury experience in a guest service role in the hotel/leisure/retail sector

• Ability to work on your own or in teams

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Experience as Wine Waiter/ess/Sommelier/Mixologist
• Mixologist qualifications
