About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Manager – PR & Communications to join team at Madinat Jumeirah Resort Functions . The Manager is responsible for managing internal and external communications and activations, that support commercial objectives, build brand awareness, and promote the company’s culture of excellence through captivating and informative storytelling. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Support the Associate Director to set strategies and develop plans in partnership with external agencies

  • Manage day-to-day external and internal communications activities to deliver key messages to internal and external stakeholders

  • Review, edit and sign off content intended for internal and external channels to ensure consistency in the global narratives, compliance with brand guidelines and maximum impact on target audiences

  • Responsible for managing and delivering original stories and campaigns designed to build brand and colleague engagement with the support of agency partners and immediate direct reports

  • Assist Associate Director in delivery of internal comms programs, initiatives, and branded content e.g., quarterly town hall, Spirit of Jumeirah activations, Hello Jumeirah, Colleague Confidential etc.

  • Manage various projects as and when required by visualizing the scope of work, deliverables, and milestones in line with property goals and objectives and ensure successful execution and implementation alongside Associate Director

  • Assist Associate Director in building relationships with key business partners, media and KOLs to support business objectives

  • Oversee media FAM and influencer FAM logistics – as arranged by wider internal team.

  • Oversee the creative design communications collateral not limited to newsletters, presentations, reports, media collateral and video communications

  • Oversee administrative function of the department including contract management, budget management, invoicing, and departmental document management

  • Oversee the management of social channels’ communications and activations in a timely manner

  • Responsible for timely review of financial statements, Profit and Loss and annual budget with reporting manager

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • UAE National as per government requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, Business or equivalent. Master’s degree is desirable.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing, Communications and PR preferably within the international luxury hospitality industry

  • Experience working in a multi-cultural environment

  • Proficient in English and Arabic, written and spoken

  • Strong interpersonal relationship and stakeholder management

  • Presentation Skills

  • Displays taking Initiatives and achievement-oriented
