About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a young and energetic Bell Attendant to join our lifestyle team in Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens. The main purpose of the role is to assist and ensure that all guest luggage, mail, parcels are delivered in a timely, professional and efficient manner, by following the department’s process, as well as ensuring that they are handled responsibly and with care and to ensure that all guest are given a friendly, courteous, informative and efficient service.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Ensure that all guest queries and requests for information are handled efficiently.

  • Ensure the luggage services ensuring a smooth and efficient operation with no delay or damage

  • Ensure that complaints are attended to promptly and handled in a professional manner according to Jumeirah Standards and reported to the Team Leader and Duty Manager

  • Ensure that all the necessary reports and resources are available to perform all duties to Jumeirah and Zabeel House Standards.

  • Maintains the privacy of all guests by ensuring that no details of the guests are disclosed to anybody following the security procedures.

  • Displays high product knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel

  • Be well informed at all times about any information that might be useful to the guests (i.e. events in town, new restaurants and bars, sports and sightseeing etc.) and to pass the knowledge on to the team

  • To ensure that all guest comments are effectively communicated, to the Guest Service Executives or Team Leaders.

  • To assist and ensure that all guest luggage, mail, parcels are delivered in a timely, professional and efficient manner, by following the department’s process, as well as ensuring that they are handled responsibly and with care.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Essential:

Qualifications:

  • High School Graduate or Diploma in Hospitality Management

  • Ideally1 years Hotel Experience in Front Office

  • Accustomed to handling customer complaints

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English

  • Additional Language would be of advantage: Arabic, Russian, Mandarin or European language

  • Outgoing and friendly personality, enthusiastic and eager

  • Able to communicate effectively and to respond well (switched on) to questions and requests
