How you can make a difference As the Product Manager of our API platform at HealthEquity, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our industry-leading healthcare financial API platform. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to develop and execute product strategies that align with our company's vision and customer needs. You will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch and beyond, while ensuring the products deliver exceptional value to our customers and contribute to the overall growth and success of HealthEquity. What you'll be doing Product Strategy and Roadmap Development: Work closely with executive leadership, market research, and customer feedback to define product vision and strategy. Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with business objectives and market trends. * Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential areas for innovation. Leverage this knowledge to inform product decisions and stay ahead of the competition. * Requirements Gathering and Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to gather product requirements. Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, business impact, and technical feasibility. * Product Development and Execution: Lead the product development process by creating detailed product specifications, collaborating with engineering and design teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet the defined requirements. * User Experience and Design: Champion a customer-centric approach to product design, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. * Product Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy: Plan and execute product launches in coordination with marketing, sales, and customer support teams. Develop go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption and growth. * Product Performance Tracking and Optimization: Monitor product performance metrics, gather customer feedback, and conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Implement iterative updates and enhancements to continually enhance product value. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure seamless product development and execution. What you will need to be successful * Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. * Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally within the healthcare or financial technology industry. * Background in developer platform and integration with APIs * Strong understanding of healthcare finance, health savings accounts (HSAs), and related regulatory landscape. * Demonstrated success in developing and launching successful products with a customer-first mindset. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences. * Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making. * Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Collaborative and team-oriented, with a passion for driving cross-functional initiatives.
