Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Maintenance Repairman 1 (Seasonal) - French Creek State Park in Downingtown, Pennsylvania

DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a member of the maintenance team at French Creek Complex, headquarters at Marsh Creek, you will be under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Supervisor. Your responsibilities will involve a variety of general maintenance tasks, such as lifting and moving heavy items. Additionally, you may be required to work on electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, masonry, tractor repairs, and mechanical equipment operation.

Your role may also entail working outdoors in various weather conditions. The Park Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for scheduling, training, evaluating, and overseeing your work. Your duties will be crucial in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of the facilities at French Creek Complex.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Seasonal full-time employment without benefits. Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Weekends, holidays and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience in general maintenance work which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
