The position within the Authority guidelines, administers all necessary utility contracts and payments entered by the Tollway in support of the maintenance and operation of the tollway system.
Essential Job Functions
This position reports directly to the Utilities Manager and has no subordinates. The position ensures all utility invoices are executed in a timely manner. The Utility Services Group is responsible for the logging, analysis, and processing approximately 1,127 utility payments per month (13,524 annually).\ \ Position Duties include:
- Ensuring that all required procedures are followed by both internal and external parties and that all documentation and signatures are obtained in order to complete the payment process.
- Following up as necessary to ensure that payment is made in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow-up will include, but may not be limited to communicating in writing, in person, or over the phone with both internal and external parties.
- Proper administration of utility contracts and the proper payment of associated invoices will require this individual to become familiar and proficient with all Tollway related software and systems utilized with respect to contract administration and payment processes.
- Serves as key contact within the Tollway for other Facility Services staff as well as for representatives from Legal, Finance and Engineering.
- Review and administer all utility contracts entered into by the Tollway in support of the maintenance and operation of the tollway system.
- Review, process and route for approval all invoices received by the Tollway in connection with the utility contracts that have been entered into.
- Take all necessary steps to ensure that both internal and external parties adhere to all Tollway processes and procedures.
