We are hiring Civil Engineer Designers for a large, award winning Engineering Firm based in Downers Grove, Illinois!

This position will offer hybrid flexibility a few days per week, with a lot of potential for growth within the company!

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of Experience in Design

• Must have the knowledge of engineering office, field work, required by your division, along with the physical ability to work outdoors under adverse conditions.

• AutoCAD proficient is a plus

• Strong understanding with m

Description:

• Assist with the review of the plans of consulting engineers and private contractors; recommend adjustments of engineering designs; ensure compliance with specifications; and applicable Village codes, State and Federal requirements.

• Interact with the citizens of municipal clients in responding to requests for services and enforcement of Village ordinances, when required.

• Provide staff support to a variety of boards and commissions including the presenting of projects and programs at public meetings; attend and participate in professional group meetings; stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of engineering.

• Conduct field inspection on permits approved
