Description

We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our team in Dothan, Alabama. The role involves various accounting tasks such as tax accounting, bank reconciliations, and monthly end close procedures. As a Staff Accountant, you will be expected to use QuickBooks and have excellent communication skills. This is an entry-level positions, and we are willing to consider recent Accounting graduates or candidates with accounting experience. This position offers substantial growth opportunity, training and professional development.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting bank reconciliations and reporting any discrepancies

• Utilizing QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and procedures

• Handling Corporate and Individual Tax accounting duties

• Executing Month End Close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Demonstrating excellent communication skills when liaising with internal and external stakeholders

• Ensuring all financial data is up to date and accurate

Requirements

Candidates for the Staff Accountant position must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 0 to 5 years of experience.
