Poste de Designer Mécanique II

Analyse, développe, conçoit et entretient le matériel mécanique pour les produits et systèmes de l'organisation. Effectue l'intégration des logiciels et du matériel dans le système afin de maintenir le débit et la cohérence du programme. Développe, valide et teste : les structures et la documentation utilisateur. Le travail peut être revu pour en vérifier l'exactitude et l'adéquation générale. Mechanical Engineer II

Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains mechanical hardware for the organization’s products and systems. Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation. Work may be reviewed for accuracy and overall adequacy. Follows established processes and directions

  • Conçoit, développe et teste une variété de tâches mécaniques qui constituent une partie d'un projet plus vaste.

  • Participe et apporte sa contribution aux revues de projet.

  • Exécute des tests conçus par des ingénieurs plus expérimentés.

  • Examine les résultats des tests et effectue des analyses des causes profondes pour identifier les problèmes.

  • Formule des recommandations et met en œuvre des solutions à des problèmes complexes. Veiller au respect du processus et des normes de qualité.

  • Modifie ou améliore les conceptions mécaniques existantes. Améliorer les technologies existantes pour les appliquer à de nouvelles solutions.

  • Formule et met en œuvre des recommandations à l'intention de l'équipe immédiate afin d'améliorer les performances et la productivité.

  • Recherche de nouveaux outils pour analyser et résoudre les problèmes.

  • Exercer son jugement dans le cadre de procédures et de pratiques définies afin de déterminer l'action appropriée.

  • Recevoir des instructions générales sur le travail de routine, les nouveaux projets ou les nouvelles missions.

  • Peut donner des conseils au personnel non qualifié.

  • Établir des relations de travail productives en interne et en externe.

  • Principaux contacts au sein de l'organisation et, à l'occasion, avec des clients inter-organisationnels et externes pour des questions de routine.

    Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops, and tests on a variety of mechanical assignments that constitute a portion of a larger project.

  • Develops and tests documentation which describes the specific mechanical functionality.

  • Participates and provides some input in project reviews.

  • Runs tests designed by more experienced engineers.

  • Reviews test results and perform root cause analyses to identify problems.

  • Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues. Insures compliance with quality process and standards.

  • Makes changes to or upgrades existing mechanical designs. Enhances and improves existing technologies to apply to new solutions.

  • Makes and implements recommendations to immediate team to enhance performance and improve productivity.

  • Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems.

  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

  • Receives general instructions on routine work, new projects or assignments.

  • May provide guidance to non-exempt personnel.

  • Builds productive working relationships internally and externally.

  • Primary intra-organizational with occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters.

Qualifications:

Qualifications minimales :

  • Baccalauréat en génie mécanique avec 2 ans ou plus d'expérience en conception de produits dans le secteur des produits électroniques industriels optoélectroniques.

  • Expérience de la conception MCAD ProE/Creo appliqués aux produits électroniques industriels et grand public ou aux produits optoélectroniques.

  • Expérience de la conception de pièces/assemblages en plastique moulé par injection, en moulage sous pression et en tôlerie.

    Aptitudes et compétences clés :

  • Expérience en usinage CNC de préférence.

  • L'expérience de l'impression 3D est souhaitée.

  • Expérience en matière de GD&T, de simulations CFD, de conception pour la fabrication et de processus de fabrication.

  • Expérience de la DFA/DFM appliquée à des produits de production en volume.

  • Une expérience de la conception et de la fabrication d'assemblages opto-mécaniques de précision est un atout.

  • Une expérience de travail avec des ODM et des JDM est un atout.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of product design experience in Optoelectronic industrial electronic product industries.

  • Experience in ProE/Creo design and drafting applied to industrial and consumer electronics or opto-electronic products.

  • Experience in injection molded plastic, die cast, and sheet metal part/assembly design.

    Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in CNC Machining is preferred.

  • Experience with 3D printing is preferred.

  • Experience with GD&T, simulations, CFD, Design for manufacturing and manufacturing process is preferred.

  • DFA/DFM experience applied to volume production products.

  • Precision opto-mechanical assembly design and manufacturing experience is a plus

  • Experience working with ODM, JDM is a plus
