Amentum AGE Supervisor in Doha, Qatar

The AGE Supervisor is responsible for AGE shop production operations. Coordinates with the AGE Superintendent to ensure production and operational goals are accurate and properly implemented. Supervises work activities, trains, inspects and evaluates all AGE employees as directed by the AGE Superintendent. Reviews and documents programs associated with maintenance operations within the AGE shop. Accomplishes work in accordance with USAF/Amentum technical data. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Principal Accountabilities

  • Directs and coordinates production efforts of Lead AGE Mechanics.

  • Primary trainer on programs and equipment related to AGE Department.

  • Prepares and completes applicable documentation as necessary.

  • Inspects the operation, troubleshooting and repairs of Lead AGE Mechanics.

  • Prepares and documents personnel performance evaluations for AGE Department.

  • Counsels' employees a necessary or as directed by the AGE Superintendent.

  • Performs required departmental inspections and audits using current SOP's and WI's.

  • Inspects HAZMAT documents for transportation and daily use.

  • Inspects servicing and maintenance, as required, on all in use assets.

  • Conducts training evaluations and ensures all training records are properly maintained.

  • May be required to operate material handling equipment.

  • Develops standards for subordinates, implements the precept of quality assurance within the guidelines of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard, Ensures that all work is completed to quality standards and provides employees with feedback on their progress.

  • Conforms to all USAF and Amentum safety, hazardous material and quality standards.

  • Performs TDY in the area of operation as required by USAF/Amentum tasking.

  • Prepares reports on production and man-hour utilization for submission to the AGE Superintendent for review and analysis.

  • Implements programs and develops tracking methods as directed by the Superintendent.

  • Candidate must perform all duties of the AGE Superintendent in his/her absence.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Works in normal office and maintenance shop or warehouse environment and may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include as a minimum Power Point, Excel and Word programs.

  • Knowledge of military or civilian maintenance systems, quality assurance and supervisory skills required.

  • Ability to repair and maintain gasoline, diesel and gas turbine engines required.

  • Ability to review electrical and electronic systems using wiring diagrams and schematics required.

  • Must possess a valid home country driver's license and ability to obtain host nation driver's license.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Practical experience of flow charts used to maintain pneumatic and hydraulic systems required.

  • A minimum three years experience in a supervisory role with a maintenance organization is required.

  • Will be required to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to prescribed procedures and as required for task being performed.

  • Physically capable of performing all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Eight years experience with AGE and training to USAF "Craftsman" or equivalent through an apprentice or military service program preferred.

  • Ideal candidate will have training as a USAF AGE, "RED X Certified" inspector.
