Specialist, Facility Operations
Responsible for planning, managing and resolving customer requests and inquiries related to the operations that occur at a facility which may include facilities planning, design, construction, allocation of offices and furniture, food services, janitorial, landscaping, move services and maintenance or repair activities.
In addition, Facility Operations functions may also include office service activities such as mail services, forms management, reprographics and office supplies.
Applies policies, procedures and best practice processes to support facilities management and office services activities.
Under general direction, works within a specialized function to complete broadly defined tasks which require advanced problem solving and recognition skills. Supports general facilities operations and uses initiative and judgment arranging job details to achieve predetermined objectives.
May provide guidance to less experienced team members.
The skills for this position are typically attained through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or, experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Required
At least Three years previous experience in Hospitality Industry in a Hotel/Lodging set up.
Valid Driving License and can lift up to 70 Ibs
Knowledgeable and experienced in Microsoft Office Suite Applications Well conversant with use of Excel.
Must be effective in oral and written communication skills are required.
Be fluent in English.
Ready and Willing to perform manual work associated with Housekeeping.
Desirable:
Experience of delivering Customer Services in a Hospitality Set Up
Experience working in a secure environment dealing with restricted Information.
Conversant with Front Desk Operations
Certificate in Business Management with a bias in either; Hospitality, Office Administration, Hotel Management and Customer service a Plus

Good Team and interpersonal skills
Good communication skills (both verbal and written) having the ability to produce reports and general business correspondence
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
Evidence of being able to manage demanding clients and customers
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, pay attention to detail and work proactively to meet deadlines.
Ability to act in a professional manner and with absolute discretion.
