AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team. This role will focus on supporting students in elementary (K-5th grades) and high school (9th-12th grades) settings. The ideal School Social Worker will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and community resources to enhance student well-being and academic success. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to enhancing student well-being and academic success. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.

• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support students with disabilities.

• Facilitate communication between students, parents, and school personnel.

• Develop and implement programs to promote social skills, resilience, and emotional well-being.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights on student social-emotional needs.

• Connect families with community resources and support services.

  Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Work endorsement.
