AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team. This role will focus on supporting students in elementary (K-5th grades) and high school (9th-12th grades) settings. The ideal School Social Worker will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and community resources to enhance student well-being and academic success. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to enhancing student well-being and academic success. Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support students with disabilities.
Facilitate communication between students, parents, and school personnel.
Develop and implement programs to promote social skills, resilience, and emotional well-being.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights on student social-emotional needs.
Connect families with community resources and support services.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Work endorsement.
IDFPR License
