Serco Training Administrator in District Of Columbia

Position Description

Serco is seeking a Training Administrator to join our Learning & Performance Solutions team. This is a full-time, on-site position at a government agency headquarters in Washington, D.C. (near the Capital One Arena).

In this role you will assist in the general operations of a team of trainers, a training facility, training course materials, and a Learning Management System (LMS). Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing daily on-site support for training and operations

  • Maintaining and updating high-quality printed & digital resources to include course materials, course management manuals/guides

  • Providing classroom logistics support such as daily classroom set-up/clean-up

  • Providing support for course managers

  • Using Zoom and Microsoft Teams to facilitate remote learning

  • Assisting with quality assurance for learning curricula and programs

  • Assisting with customer support activities

  • Providing general administrative and clerical support as needed

  • Assisting to modify instructor manuals and training materials using standard templates to ensure a consistent look and feel

This position will play a pivotal role in the agency’s return to in-person learning as the Learning Center looks to increase face-to-face training opportunities in FY25 and beyond. As the first full-time on-site support asset in the Learning Center in more than three years, this role will become the “face” of the Learning Center’s support for the agency.

Qualifications

To be successful in this posiiton you must have:

  • US Citizenship

  • Ability to obtain a NACI clearance

  • High school diploma/GED

  • 4 years of relevant experience in the following areas:

  • Coordinating logistical requirements for the delivery of training

  • Developing, preparing, and delivering training-related materials

  • Maintaining delivery schedules and databases to ensure that all training delivery requirements are met

  • High level of proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and SharePoint

  • Working knowledge of online collaboration and meeting tools including Zoom and Microsoft Teams

  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer relations skills

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary for this role is $62037.42 -$93056.69;however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. The target salary for this position is $62,500.
