Job Description

A customer of Insight Global in the Lansing, MI area is looking for an analyst to join their vulnerability management team. This individual will act as a liaison between other agencies as patches are pushed out to identify vulnerabilities shown in applications. This person will be working with business partners to mitigate the risk of those vulnerabilities depending on levels of criticality at any point in time. Our client is looking for an individual who is passionate about cybersecurity and eager to learn more in the field.

Compensation:

$39/hr to $49/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

• 4+ years of security operations, cybersecurity incident response, networking, and/or cybersecurity operations center experience.

    * Experience using Tenable software to scan for vulnerabilities.

    * Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related field.

    * Excellent communications skills. * Ethical hacking experience.

    * Information security research experience. null
